Below is some information on key features and benefits of the modules included in MYstaff HRM Essentials:
ToDo Module - Manages Workflows and Activity Planning and Management
Workflow Management Allows employees to track the progress of specific activities (e.g. Leave Requests, Time Cards, etc) using workflows. These activities move through the workflow and and allow managers to approve requests. All employees have the ability to amend details in their current workflows (e.g. change leave dates). This saves time and increase productivity.

Track current, overdue and future review dates
Ensures business objectives and procedures are met. Setup automated email alerts to notify employees, managers and HR administrators of upcoming critical review dates ToDo Management Review Dates Communication(e.g. Salary Review Date, etc).

Planner – View direct reports and subordinates activities
Helps both employees and managers with manpower planning over a department and assist with workflow decision making (e.g. Leave Timing).
Jobs Module - Jobs and Position Management
Job and Position Management - This section of MYstaff allows administrator to maintain the jobs and positions in the organisation.

Electronic Job Descriptions
- It improves productivity by standardising job descriptions and linking them to organisation goals.Job and Position Management

Skill & Qualification Matrix –
detailed skill and qualification matrix can be assigned; this is especially useful in the Enterprise Edition as it allows the employee skills to be compared against the job requirements and assists employees, managers and administrators with training management by reducing training costs and improving development planning and training identification.

Grading –
Support job grading through Job Evaluation. Can save money and help in retaining employees and linking to salary surveys
Employee Module - Employee Detail and Employment Management
New Employee Wizard - Administrators have the ability to create new employees quickly via a wizard. All data is synchronized with payroll where connected.

Establishment Details
- A composite area that contains important employee work details such as names, birthdays, job and reporting relationships, contacts, etc.

Personal Contacts
- An unlimited number of contacts can be provided such as next of kin, emergency contact etc.Employee Module - Employee Management

Equal Opportunity
- The system can track and report EEO information as well as additional languages and other miscellaneous employee information.

Resume
- Online resumes can be kept and updated as work assignments are completed.  This information can be then used as input sources to new tenders, etc where staffing details are required.

Contact List
- Lists all work contact information in a searchable online staff directory.

Assets
- Allows companies to track a company assets issued to all employees and recover them on termination. 

Organisation Chart
- A dynamic organisation chart is built from the position reporting relationships – this allows employees to see where they fit in the organisation and the chain of command. It also determines where most workflows will be routed.

Survey
- The system allows the administrator to create an online employee exit survey as a means of trying to reduce turnover by finding information to assist employee retention.

Employment History
- Complete employee work history is tracked – most is available via reports

Work Pattern
- The system tracks details of the employees’ normal work cycle in hours and is used for pay and leave calculations

Termination
- When employees leave their termination and reasons for termination can be set and recorded in the system. On the termination day their record is flagged as inactive however at any point they may be reactivated including full history. At termination the system can also identify company property that should be retrieved.

Document Store
- An unlimited number of documents can be uploaded against each individual employee e.g. Signed Employment contact, File Notes etc for fast retrieval and by management and HR.
Reward Module - Remuneration Management
The Reward module contains the entire employee’s reward administration information, remuneration, payroll and remuneration history. The system will handle the administration of salary, wage and contractor employees. It is very flexible and allows remuneration to be managed for all employee types. The aim of the system is to reinforce employee value and performance through reward mechanisms. This can save the company money and help retain key personnel.

Remuneration -
This shows how an employee’s salary has been packaged into various components, including those components which have been provided but not included in the “package” amount. In addition an unlimited number of deductions can be tracked against each employee.Remuneration Management

Salary Review Management -
Salary review dates are stored and tracked in the system to ensure Salary reviews are completed.

Online Payroll Information update
(with a connected payroll system) - Bank accounts and other data can be changed or updated online.

Online Payslips (with a connected payroll system)
- Payslips can be viewed and printed online including past pays.
Leave Module - Leave Management and Tracking
The leave module is to review an employee’s leave balances and leave record history as well as providing a planner to help employees, managers and administrators to manage leave requests. The leave planner shows calendar activities for the employees reporting to the selected manager or supervisor. This module helps companies manage leave, leave accruals, leave lodgement streamlining the process and automating actions to reduce transaction costs while improving internal controls.

Leave Records -
The leave administration area allows employees to view their accrued leave balances. It also allows employees to view the progress of leave requests to see where they are in the approval process cutting down the number of questions directed at payroll.Where a leave system is not attached then the system can use its own internal leave Leave Management and Trackingaccrual engine to track various leave accruals.

Workflows -
Workflows control the leave process and replace paper based leave requests. When a leave request workflow is created it is routed to the appropriate manager for review and action. If it is not actioned within a certain timeframe then automatic escalation can activated to ensure the workflow is reviewed and actioned.

Planner -
When leave requests are approved they are posted to a calendar so that a manager can see the leave and training plans for this group of reports. This prevents understaffing situations from occurring.
Time Module - Time Tracking
 MYstaff has an online time card system to track time or expensesTime Module - Time Tracking employees spend on different activities. Administrators have the ability to setup an unlimited number of task allocation codes. These can range from specific projects or tasks or simply tracking normal hours etc.As employees enter time cards they can be reviewed and approved by supervisors or managers.

Time Card
 - Once a time card has been entered into the system they are routed to the employee’s supervisor or the timekeeper for approval before being sent to payroll for processing.
